Smile 2003 H2 with 125K and still going great

so far I have replaced the following: starter at 75K, alternator at 90K, front hubs at 110K - pretty much all that everyone has mentioned on the various H2 sites. I have been able to do all the work myself which has been very inexpensive. Other than that, the only major item was the heated seat covers at 100K (done by the dealer - expensive). I have also had some minor interior items due to abuse by the kids (e.g. the split seat hinge cover, glovebox). In general it's been an absolutely great vehicle. I have done a full BG service every 30K miles to keep wear down on all the major drivetrain. It's a shame the mileage is so bad, but it's cheaper to keep driving it than the money I'd lose on a trade. I still have the original brake pads (not even half worn up front !!!), spark plugs and wires (although I will likely replace them this year). I also get the stuck speedo on long trips, but fine around town for the most part (I have a wonderful shot of us doing 130 MPH cruising down the highway 2 years ago ). We even got nearly 70K on the last set of tires - so I really can't complain much. I think if it ever fails, I'd look for another used one as the H2's are just indestructible.

77k on my 07 H2 SUT, issues; creaking noisy bodymounts,, replaced all 5 power steering lines, rear suspension ( not done yet), a little front end movement, lightbar does not function for some reason and left rear DVD player is out. Other than that it is perfect. Got to admit a certain almost panic though when I hear a new noise...but that's just me

Default 58k

58k on my 2005 H2. I put in new seat covers, replaced ignition switch, manifold, new tires this year, fixed a leaky axle seal, just had to replace the water pump. Still loving my truck and in a couple of years I may just buy a low mileaged 2009.

So, I have right at 81k on my 05. Love it. I have had to replace the ENTIRE brake system $$$$ yeah. Legal issue with the dealer still. Some jacka$$ mixed wrong type oil in it. But it has been running strong.

Does not look like you guys in in the USA do allot of mileage? weird as I know how big your country is??? In south Africa driving two hours hours to work is "normal" if you from Johannesburg
