How many miles you getting on brakes?
I know it varies greatly on driving styles, but just wondering how many miles most are getting on their brake pads before they need replaced??
I am in for state inspection today, and they just called to give me the news. ...

We got 53K on ours and it is the original brakes. My wifes daily driver and there is some town driving, and actually i think she is a fast driver who breaks hard. On the front, one pad failed, the others he said would be chirping in a month...so they are doing the front.
No need to change the back to pass, said they were decent. So we are going to wait.
They broke all 4 low tire sensors changing our old 265 to the new 285s, not sure how that happened, but they are replacing them all at no cost of course, just need to wait for them to be delivered from another shop.
I took it to a GM dealer cause I figured with so FEW H3s around they may have the most knowledge on the vehicle sicne they pump out Colorado trucks, (nearest Hummer dealer (or was Hummer dealer) is 3 hours away). I hope I made the right choice and this does not cause a new rash of problems.

About a month ago, I had a wear indicator chirpping for about 2 weeks then it became constant. I pulled both front tires off to begin the brake job and saw wha is pictured below. I have about 40K on these pads. The wear indicator was bent in about 1/4" more on the drivers side versus the passenger side. I pulled it back into place and checked the rotor put the wheels back on and ran it. Hopefully they will show you the failed pad when you go in.
