I have a small 8x2 Decal that reads Global Warmer on it and it had been sitting in a box for about 3 months, and it has seemed to lost the Stickiness on the adhesive. Are there any ways to restore the Stickiness? (but it can't be Permanent)

 

When my duct/painters tape loses its stickiness, I throw it in the microwave for 15-20 sec. and it works to revive the tape again.

 

But its a clear sticker, wouldn't that make it shrivel up like bacon?

 

I don't know about "YOUR" sticker. Just informing you what I do with tape and it works. I'd think a thin sticker would do that after 15 seconds in the microwave. Maybe try 1 sec. at a time???? I can try with a crap sticker I have if you want to see what happens. lol

 

I've heard that auto part stores sometimes sell Adhesive for decals, I just wanted to know of there was a Trick to doing it with something that I could have at home.

But I will try the microwave with another sticker. Thanks
