How do you retain your GM XM antenna WITH cd-ib100?
I HAVE SWAPPED TO AFTERMARKET STEREO
I GOT THE PIONEER CD-IB100 WHICH IS an Xm reciever and it comes with an external antenna, i want to use the factorys antenna is this possible?? and will my account stay the same on file through onstar???

The XM Radio ID is different from usit to unit. XM is very good at swapping accounts from radio ID to Radio ID and usually doesn't charge you a new activation fee. If you are on your 3 month trial... you are SOL. They will sock it to you.
If you already have XM then there is no real need to use the XM in the new receiver though... all you need to do is use adapters to plug it into your new head unit.
