Indy,

For the front I went up about 2 inches by using the chevy "green" keys. I then replaced the factory shocks with Rancho RS5000s specifcially designed for a tbar lift.

I had special spacers custom made from UHMW plastic. They go under the air springs. I then made adjustments to the air ride system to make it inflate the bags to the proper setting to that it lifted the back of the truck.

Over all with the truck on toyo 37's my frame has like 16inhes of ground clearance at the center crossmember.

I have had problems with ball joints. actually its the lowers that wear out. I suspect though that it is really from the constant very hardcore wheeling that I do. Keep in mind my truck is getting older now (2003 with 120K miles) and I honestly replace most front end linkage annually. The parts I buy are lifetime guaranteed so I just swap them out when I start to notice slop.

^damn that is hands down awesome! The 40's on 17" wheels looks so badass and old school!! I'll be sticking with 17's also when I go bigger on the rubber-off road trucks are supposed to have GIGANTIC sidewalls!!
