I just saw this tractor lights at WALLY WORLD for less than 20 each and was thinking of building my own light bar with 4 of this ;-) 55 watts H3 halogen bolds ....

H3 bulbs lack in the light output department. They are very small bulbs and just won't have the output of larger bulbs. I have the Plus 1 foglight bar on my rig and it has 2 PIAA's in it that hold H3 bulbs. I even upgraded them to 110 watt bulbs and they still don't throw out that much light.

I do agree with you, just wanted to make sure you knew about the output. I did the same with the 10 lights I put on my roof rack. To pay for PIAA's for 10 lights would have cost as much as I paid for the rack and that's not worth it IMO.


I bought some cheapo lights off ebay that I think looked nicer than any wally world light-I did look into those also as you did. I actually bought a pair but ended up returning them and going with the cheaper ebay lights.


I can try and find the link if you're interested but they're not as tall as the ones you posted. I needed lights that would fit my stealth rack.
