Hey all,
So I was under the truck today and happened to see I have two hoses that were capped off by the engine just in front of the tranny.
I followed them back to see they are connected into the transfer case (I believe that is what it is called the the rear shaft is connected to and is in the middle of the truck)

So what are these hoses for?
Why would they be capped off?

 

I think those are oil cooling pipes that one pipe sends the tanny hot oil to the radiator to cool and the other one is a retune pipe back to the tranny ,

 

they arent going to the tranny they are going to the transfer case
they just run along the side of the tranny
they are rubber hoses that are connected to the tranfer case and run up to where the tranny and engine meet and then are capped off .... both of them.
