It is almost winter here in Iowa, I dont know if I am calling this part the right thing. its the hood black piece that you see when you are in the drivers seat on the hood. 2 out of the 4 clips or whatever holds it down are busted so when it is windy it shakes and looks like it is going to fly off soon. Dont know how this got busted but I need to fix it and dont know how. Short on money dont want to buy a whole new piece unless its cheap.

 

factory recall,free fix. note that they will glue it so it NEVER comes off!1. see a dealer,as far as ive heard thats it

 

But they dont make hummers anymore so where do I take it.

 

Just called the dealer ship where I bought it they said they are going to replace it with a new one. According to them this has allready been fixed on this H3. I said well its falling off lol!

 

yea its a free recall, but they glue it on the hood so....if you every thought about taking it off for any reason do it before you get it fixed.
