I saw that...but with me sellign bulbs to members it's kinda hypocritical to yell at him to stop. Even though I am selling at cost to help my friends out and not making money, it can still be seen that way by some. I think it will take a member to come on and say hey, I have your lightbar and you weld like a blind midget using a soldering iron. then he will go away

the only person here i know of that has one is green lantern/shellback/golden shellback/golden shower and whatever other freakin' names he's had. i saw it on our mud run in Feb but didn't look at it too closely. he wasn't on the snow run, but next run he's on i'll take a closer look and see if i can come up with a comment or two. considering i know dik about welding, i can just use ignorance as an excuse - it's worked for me plenty of times in the past . . . .

I know there was one dude that got a lightbar that come on and posted that the welds were terrible...but everyone left the thread die so Hilly never really had to answer to it. That was back when I was the only one that wanted him to stop so I had no support. The search master Rich could probalby find the thread.

Honestly, I have no problem with hilly making stuff and offering members products that look like others on the market but cheaper....I kinda likt custom fab stuff. I just wish he would pay like Doc did and do it the proper way. That is the only problem here...he needs to pay to play. I fit in this catagory as well...but my admining and spending *** loads of time taking care of this board should be payment enough.

Impy you work with the mods and Patrick to make this place function. Hilljob just tries to make money off of the place. He doesn't even really post here much anymore and when he does it is connected to selling somebody something. I don't mind him selling on the site as long as he has satisfied Patrick and you that he is adhering to the same guidelines that all the other vendors adhere to or that you agree to whatever exceptions he is taking. I liked the guy when he was posting here and have no issue with him other than he seems to be taking advantage of the forum rules but that is not my call. Just trying to look after the greater good here.

I sent him this:

Hello,

As the Admin of Hummer Forums, I felt I needed to touch base with you. When you were a regular poster here we really didn't have any problem with you making the occasional thread about products you made, but that occasional post has become all too frequent now. There are proper avenues for you to take if you want to sell your products on this board, like others have done. You must contact Patrick and discuss being a paying vendor on this site before you make another post trying to sell something.

Thank you for your cooperation,

Mike
