Hey guys I got a set of hids for my fogs and lowers..I was wondering if I had to take off everything in the front such as the grill the piece under the grill and what not. Also how do you plug them in because it looks like it needs to be cut or something.

Also if you could any help with instructions or photos would be greatly appreciated. I have almost everything off and what not I just don't know how to get the bracket holding the lower piece off and how to connect the lights because it looks like it has to be spliced.

what are we talking about here, HID retro fit? I took the upper grill off when doing mine although you wouldn't have to, just makes for a neater install. If you got a decent kit it should mostly be plug and play.

 

Ya I got the kit from ddm but there are two wires on it that look like I need to cut others wires because there are two pronges.

 

i think those are for your fogs, correct? had the same wires in mine. when you unplug the factory harness from the back of the fogs those prongs slide into it, that's what triggers your ballast to turn on and more than likely the power source for it.

 

hmm what part does it plug into because i cant locate an exact spot i think it would go and i obviously dont want to force anything

 

If you got them from DDM, why can't they instruct you as to where certain wires need to go ??

 

should be the harness that plugs into the back of your stock fog light bulb
