It's funny that you mention this. I actually talked to Matt@ The Retrofit Source today. He is going to check it out for me, but he's thinking that the Blazer projector will fit in our fogs. I'll find out in a couple days, probably Monday the 2nd.

So a guy down the street has the Morimoto's in his Isuzu Rodeo and we compared the other night... I think the Starr's are just a bright (maybe a little brighter but I chalk that up to mine are new and his are a year old) and the difference at the cut off was negligible. I am happy and the wife is happy... oh, btw mine did a much better job on brights, much better pattern and significantly further...

Yes the wife is happy, well with this anyway...

My comparison was the opposite, but my buddy's Starr's are almost 2 yrs old, he thinks... and the cut off was noticeably different and my brights brighter...that's why he is looking into getting a different lenses for his projector (from Retrofit), if possible.

Your would have a lot to do with the bulbs too...yours vs his and how many k's each are running. If he went with the Morimoto bulb, yours would/should be brighter. I haven't heard any bad things about the Mori bulbs, but I went with the a Philips XB35 anyway.

I'm not saying that the Starr's are bad, just not worth the $800+ in my eyes, even with the Philips equipment. But anything is better than the OEM's! All that matters is that YOU'RE happy with your buy, like I am with mine. That's what makes them OUR trucks

You are correct... except to be honest it doesn't matter if i am happy as long as the wife is happy... as my wedding vows went; what is mine is hers and what is hers is hers.
