Congrats on your H2! Now let me see if I can answer some of your questions. I will answer them in the same order you posted them........

1. The harness plug that you show in the picture goes to a relay that controls the rear suspension compressor. The earlier H2's used a compressor that inflated 2 rear air bags that lifted the back part of the H2. Later models changed from the air bags to a spring system. This alleviated the issues of dry rotted air bags, leaking air lines, or a burned out compressor. When the button was pushed on the dash to lift the rear suspension, that relay supplied the power to the compressor to begin inflating the air bags to the desired height if you were towing a trailer etc.

2. The factory off road light bar was standard on some H2's that had the limited edition models. There were actually 2 styles of light bars, the high profile ones like yours and the more sleek low profile light bars. The wiring harness was routed up in the "A" pillar from the drivers side dash up through the left front corner roof light then onto the wiring inside the light bar itself. The wiring harness from the bar down through the pillar isnt available, you will have to make one yourself. This can easily be done with some wire and connectors. I have the wiring diagram if you need it. Fortunately, the wiring for the relays and switch are still available and can be ordered through a GM dealer. (I know there is a part number but cant remember it just this minute, it can be found on various GM parts websites, or other members can also help you here.) I did this project last year.

3. The part you are asking here is the cowl grille cover. They are next to the wipers and simply pop straight upward with 4 clips each. The past number is 15135986 & 15135993. They might be available through the GM dealer but you might have a easier time trying eBay or Craigslist as these are painted to match the color of your H2.

4. This issue is more regional specific. Several of these Hummer bulletin board websites have regional forums that you can post on to meet up with other H2ers in your area. This site has the Meets, Events, and Shows forum.

Hope this helps..........

Congrats on the new rig. The pic of the frame looks like it's in really nice shape. Most show surface rust on the frame.
