Hey ya'll, New Hummer owner here Looking for ppl to get advice and maybe hang with. I got a 08 Solar flare orange SUT with the lux package.My plans include a Lift and Black out kit, Big wheels and tires, and other off road goodies. Any tips will be greatly appreciated. I know about the tire rod end breakage wth big tires off roading, But I would love to know any other glitches involving the H2. On another note I'm removing the chrome package from my H2, If anyone is interested let me know.Thanks Jamie

Welcome to the forum and Hummers. The trucks do very well offroad bone stock. The list of off road upgrades is as endless as your pocketbook will let it be. Best advice...go to a reputable outfit that knows Hummers. Lets see the pics.

I'm from Cleveland Oh. I don't own a Hummer but I have a guy who wants me to do some extreme fabrication to his H2 and this will be a good place to get some info on especially composites parts.

He wants me to hand sculpt / carve a 3D tribaldesign on the hood, then I noticed the hood is a composite are all the Hummer models composites.

 

The H2 and 3 have the louver look hoods, so yes those are composites. There was a guy on here a while back that made a carbon fiber hood cover replacement for the 3, do a search and look around, might help some?
