You can tap into a tail light wire if you cant find any harness.

Take the time to call us when you can, we can have one of our techs tell you where to attach that wire. 1-916-714-9988

There is a junction box behind your rear bumper if you crawl underneath the car and look up..its a little to the drivers side about a foot and a half behind the bumper. there should be a plug that doesn't have any wires connected to It. It is wired for you rear lights. You have to take a test light to the pins individually to determine which is ground and which is power as I don't remember when I wired mine. You can buy the metal crimp connectors from the dealer that will work in that plug to make a harness. I ended up drilling a very small hole in plastic bumper to connect to lic. plate lamps.

there is a very detailed post on all of this on the forums .. you may have to search for a while but its there as I went through all of this a couple years ago. I have since sold the carrier as I cannot tow my new trailer with it on.

Default Junction box

I took photos while wiring up my spare tire license plate light. Use an ohm meter, but I think white was ground for me.
