Default Help making top brake light flash

Hello All,

Just got rear ended in my 2005 H2 for the 4th time......lucky right !!! ??

NE way I want to know if I can simply wire in a standard 12 volt flasher unit into the top brake light assembly...to make it flash ?

Have done this many times on other cars...but not sure if this technique will work with the H2's LED type of bulbs.

Thankx for any and all info !

Of course an aftermarket flashing assembly would be the easiest...I cannot find one...

Best!

Scott

I sell motorcycle parts and one of the products available for bikes is a Back off module made by Signal Dynamics Corp. You might check with them to see if they offer something that would work for you. Badlands motorcycle products also makes a similar product. Both of those companies make quality made in USA products.
p.s. bummer about getting rear ended. You would think a Hummer would be visible enough.

I have seen other cars do that and I think it actually makes me notice the vehicle faster because it grabs my attention. Im suprised you have been rear ended that many times because they couldnt see a hummer lol. I have a big 8" drop hitch in my rear reciever at all times for said circumstances. Its worked once already.
