Your XM may have to relink to your radio. You might have to remove one battery cable and wait for a while then reconnect.

My first Hummer was an '07 H3 and its XM suddenly ended. I was not the original owner. So I called... the original owner paid one year in advance and when that time ended, so did the service. But, I was also paying a subscription fee... so XM was caught double-dipping... they reconciled the issue by giving me a credit on the months that I paid when service was pre-paid.

Speaking of XM... they used to be great... really enjoyed the choices in music... I liked XM so much that I bought a lifetime subscription on the H3T... then... to quote Don McLain... "... the music died." XM merges with Sirius, and ever since, I can't seem to find stations that I like. It's like cable TV... I am constantly searching for something that I enjoy hearing.

On top of that, Sirius now defines my "lifetime" subscription as a maximum of 10 years. I bought the H3T as a "keeper"... so in eight more years, I'll be screaming if the plug is pulled... can you say "class action lawsuit."

So let me get this straight.... I have XM in my wife's car and on my PC. I also use one of those crummy receivers velcroed to my dash. Your telling me that my Monsoon system can now get XM?? Mine doesn't have any options for XM on the Band of the single disc radio, but I'd sure like to have it. Does my system have XM and I just didn't know it??

If you have the Monsoon you pretty much have the capability to have XM. It will already have the XM reciever box behind & under the OEM 6 disc. When you flip thru the "bands" you will see XM or Aux. If you do not see them you still have them and just need to reset the radio. When I added my PAC Ipod integration I somehow lost XM/Aux. After I reset the radio "unplugged and plugged it back in" wha-la everything was back again!

I don't think mine has the changer. It's just a simple single disc in dash unit and I noticed the Monsoon box in the back. My Band button never brings up XM.

Oh and sorry, didn't mean to hijack a thread! My bad!
