VIN plate is rivited onto the window frame. For 92-03 Hummer is it on the bottom of the drivers side of the window frame. On the 04-06 it is on the side of the window frame. There is also a VIN tag on the driver door jam. Otherwise the only place the VIN exists on some Hummers (newer ones, not older ones) is on the passenger side frame rail right in front of the front upper control arm mounting bracket but if it's been painted over it's real hard to see.
