I can't figure out what's wrong?!? I have a 2007 H3 Manual. So driving home from work I hop off the highway and downshift into 4th gear and all it does is rev up. I just assumed ok s#%t wrong gear so I slowed down and place in third and it only revved up. I drifted off into a parking lot and it does into all gears but goes no where! I put in 4low and high and it won't move just continually revving. Any ideas?!

 

Look at the clutch plate, I saw one last month where the inner and outer rings separated (broken rivets) but it was still together. Same symptoms. Could be that all the friction material has been worn off the plate.

 

Same thing happened to my H3 while off-roading... it was the clutch (...it had almost 120k problem-free miles on it, so I wasn't too surprised). Ended up costing about $1k to fix at an independent shop using the same all original GM parts. Drives just like new now.
