Hey Guys new to the forum, I have a H3 which I love but currently cannot use as I've only had it 6 months and it decided to shoot a rod!

I really don't want to replace the old engine as here in Aus not only is it probably more expensive to replace the 3.7 with an LS motor, we don't have access to the V* LH version you guys have in the states.

So I was wondering if anyone could give me insight as to the play by play (parts etc) for fitting the LS engine.. Any help would be much appreciated

 

**sorry I meant more expensive to replace the 3.7 than to drop in an LS**

 

Hello and welcome. This section is for introductions, not tech questions. Head on over to the H3 section and fire away.


Hint: an LH is basically an LS with the LH oil pan that clears the front drive train. Look for the LH oil pan and swap that to your motor before install.

 

If you need parts from the US (or another engine for that matter) I can help you with that quickly and fairly economically. I do this for a living .
