Default HELP!

I just installed a set of roof marker lights today on my H3 according to the instructions that came with it. All seemed to be going smooth until I had to get into the fuse box. I thought I had it all done and got into the truck and NOTHING! I took the fuse box apart again and made sure that the harnesses were completely locked in. I put everthing back together again and thought I was set. The truck started and everything worked. I cleaned the tools out of the driveway and noted that the drivers side headlight was dim ( they are brand new Silver Stars installed last week). I gort in the truck to park it and I noticed that the ABS, Brake and tracktion control warnings are flasing accross the display! Is there something I need to reset or do I need to take that damn fuse box apart again! If I knew it was going to be this much troble I would have just tied the lights into the headlight haness! Thanks in advance for your help. Bill[:-]

Thanks, that will take care of the headlight. Hopefully I can reset the other messages coming up on the dash. It got dark and it was cold out there so I gave up for today. Another one of those two hour jobs that ate up the whole day!

Well I took the buss box apart again today because I couldn't get an appointment with the dealer until December 4th. What I found was that one of the prongs on one of the connecters had missed the hole and bent (I hate when theat happens!). It was bent over and touching another prong. I straigtened it out and put it back together and BINGO, everything is back to normal including the headlight! The roof lights look good too.

Yeah, what a releif it was when everything returned to normal. The truck only has 3,000 miles on it, I don't need problems this soon. They don't give you any slack in the harnesses that got to the box which makes it tough to plug them back in. Next I'll be doing entertainment centers in the head rest. Hope that goes better!

Missed the December 4th question. I live in Connecticut. There are three dealers here but 2 of them I wouldn't trust to touch the truck. I thought December 4th was extreme too. All I wanted was for them to hook it up and try and erase the codes that were coming up.
