Default Hello - New H2 owner northeast

Hello everyone. Here's my 06. Picked up a couple months ago with 37k miles.
My problem now will be what to get after this one since they dont make them anymore and I wont want to drive anything else now.

Nice wheels, I am looking to get back in the club. Got rid of mine a about five years ago and I am missing it!

That is a legit question, I suppose it depends on what you care about. The new Tahoes are nicer and even bigger, same width and 14" longer, but seriously lacking the off road ability. A Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon gets you 4 doors and off road ability, but smaller and comparatively poor comfort. Something from Land Rover is probably the closest alternative.

Personally, if I were to get rid of my H2 today for something else it would be most likely be one of two things. A previous gen Tahoe that I'd add a lift, fender cut-out and flares, lockers with re-gear and 35" tires. Basically try to turn a Tahoe into an H2. The other option would be to go back to an H3, but get an Alpha this time.

Fortunately I don't have to get rid of my H2 and there isn't anything I'd rather drive, so I'll just wait patiently for someone to come out with something I want. Driving an H2 with no car payment is a pretty good motivator to just keep what I have. Even if someone does come out with something I want more, I'll wait until whatever it is starts hitting the used car lots.

My Hummer is not my daily driver, so I don't rack up many miles per year on it. But my plan is to keep it until either I or it are in the ground.
