Hello All
Hello everyone. My folks are considering leasing an 08 H3 tomarow. Figured I'd buzz in and see if anyone has some thoughts. The lease is zero down, and then it's under 300 dollars a month, for the stock model. My dad would be trading in my mom's 04 REndezvous which only has about 28,000 miles.
I looked into the basics of the car, it seemed like the only real problems people have been having are faulty sensors, which annoy the hell out of my dad on his XK8, but I figure on a leased car that's not really a monetary problem right?
Also, how are the hummer dealers when it comes to servicing the car.
Thanks for any feedback, and I hope to enjoy this forum as much as I enjoy my jaguar forum.

Lease or buy the issues are covered by warranty. I have had outstanding success with the three dealers I go to. Some dealers are better than others. I am sure there are enough Hummer dealers in the Chicago area for there to besome that have a really good service department.
Welcome to the forum and good luck tomorrow.

I don't know if anyone on here has any particular stories about this dealer, but it is Weil Hummer in Libertyville.
I know I own a jaguar, and so does my dad...and there are two dealers we went to in Chicago. One, the service department is extremely courtious and undercharges us most of the time, the other dealer is the rudest bunch of snobs I ever met. I hope it's not like that with Hummer

93xj, most Hummer dealers are very good. Like most companies if you get to be over a certain size you will have some substandard performers. You usually only hear about the bad experiences and there are some out there. I have had a number of Hummers and still do. I have had great service from three different Hummer dealers. I would recommend any and all of them to anyone. One thing in my favor is that there are quite a few Hummer dealers in Socal. Any of them that didn't perform would pay the price through lost sales and service work. I have to think that in Chicago their are enough dealers where you can find a good one.
So I went with my old man today, and basically he wanted the auto transmission. ANd aparently the only auto's they had were allk luxury package with moonroofs, so the car itself was 6 grand more...not so bad. But the original advertised price on the stock model was 278 a month nothing down before taxes. SO a 6 thousand dollar more car they wanted like 447 a month before taxes. We hammered it down to 398 and then I had to go home to go to work. So he's still there, trying to get it to around 350. Otherwise we may just stick to the buick, which they offered 11,000 for.
I had never been in teh H3 before, but I loved that car it was awesome, such a quality machine....and the driving was great, engine sounded a lot better than my mom's buick.

We couldn't get a better price out of them, so I guess I can only look forward to getting a hummer in the future. How I was looking to going camping in a few weeks.
I guess this is now a goodbye, but hopefully I will be back on this forum eventually.
