Also if you want an easier install, I highly recommend changing out your stock fog lights to this HID kit. I put in a 3000k kit and it has the most "wow" factor. If GM would have made the headlights the same as the fogs no one would be having this issue. With an HID kit in the fogs you will simply have the most insane bright light output from that. You wont even notice that your reg headlights are on or off.

If you want the brightest light output from the kit I would go with the 4300k.

Save the money, put in 9005 headlight bulbs in the foglights, change to a ceramic heavy duty wiring harness.....insane lighting!

 

I installed the OEM lower grille offroad light kit and put the 9005 SilverStar Ultras in. I couldn't believe how it blows away my brights AND fogs on together!

 

I sell a crap ton of HID's out of my store to all the off roaders trucks around here. They have new slim digital ballasts out no that are 1/4 the size of the old school ones. Sylvania.com is a great resource to see what bulb your vehicle takes.
