Can someone tell me or point me to the link on what series of VIN numbers had issues with Head and Valves (for H3 2006 model)?

This is why I steered clear of the 2006 I drove as a loaner for a few days. I researched it here.
I had no easy well of telling if work had been done or not on it either. I wasn't going to go through with the purchase so I didn't do a Carfax.
