the hi/low kit should Come with a harness.

do not need error cancelers

mounting is up to you. I have mine zip tied in the engine bay, it all depends on how you want to mount them.

i dont know what the error cancelers are but the other two things should come with the kit already. you do need them, more the wire harness then the mounting kit. i didnt use the mount brackets on my ballast. i just let the set down on the little 'shelf' area by the headlights.

When a HID kit is installed in newer car models or cars with a computer controlled unit, often there is an error code showing on the dash board or the HID lights keep flicking and would not stay on. This is due to the fact that the HID kit is triggering a bulb out warning signal in your car's computer control unit. By connecting a HID error canceller, the capacitor in the device balances out the current draw of the HID kit and would offset the warning signals.

Hummer72 05-17-2013 02:46 PM

why did you ask if you already knew what they were?

Simple solution for you:

1- buy your hid kit
2- install
3- test
a) no errors, no flickering; NO EC's needed
b) errors or flickering; EC's needed

simple plug and play if you need to install the error cancellers, connect one end to the HID bulb and another end to the ballast.

none of my kits ever came with an error canceler and i've installed them on a lexus es300, a bmw 325, and a hummer h3. none of which ever threw a error code. i think youll be all set with out it.
