As far as running boards, never heard of an issue with them rusting man. I say ditch them

Believe me I agree. Lots of people have that issue. Besides you still have your warranty right? Even if they aren't covered under that wheel-corrosion defect, you should still be c overed by warranty.
Yep. There is still some factory warranty left. I believe you. It is worth paying the 100$ deductable for all new rims. I know in a few years those rims will look terrible if i dont replace them soon. I want to keep it in tip-top shape. I was thinking about putting some aftermarket rims on it but ive spend so much extra for the chrome package.

Some aftermarket wheels would be pretty sweet... so are powdercoating the stockers black But I agree, having the chrome package is pretty limiting because everything black will clash with the damn chrome.

Let us know how the wheel situation turns out!

I have a set of chromes off of my old '06 H3 Adventure that are in mint shape with the caps. Keep in mind if you want to replace your current ones.

Good news! Went to the dealership the other day and showed them the rims. They decided to replace all of the rims for me. FOR FREE!!! They are going to order them and they will call me in a couple weeks. I think they should replace them anyway becuase the rims should not be peeling after ive just spend 25k on the H3.
