Has a stranger made negative comments about your H3?
 

Just curious about when you're in the parking lots and such if you've had stranger's approach you and make snide or negative comments about your ride. I've had mine a year and have never experienced any of the negativity branded against Hummers like some here have mentioned. Not saying it doesn't happen just wondering how much it happens among members here.

Tried to vote but gor the ASP 500 error message. I have had some negative comments but far more positive ones.

I've had comments from guys about driving a rich Soccer Mom car but I quickly remind them that their F-250 4x4 costs more than my H3, that usually shuts them up. GM probably doesn't realize that the H3 gets bundled in with the H2 with HUMMER haters, see http://fuh2.com, notice how many H3's are there? The general public is ignorant about the H3 being any different than the H2 and GM doesn't do a very good job explaining the difference.

i understand now there has been a couple of people give me the bird and i couldn't work out why? they were in a sh1tty 15 year bomb and they gave me the finger????????????????/
now i know why thanksRealjeep

but i have had alot more positive comments and jestures by far
the greatest is the lookon the kids faces when you drive past them :)
as far as the feul goesmy other car can use more feul than a hummer and it is a 4cyl (6.2mpg)
and because it is a small car no one cares??????????/

Isn't it crazy Skippy? According to the U.S. Government, the H3 isn't anywhere near the gas hog as the Range Rover, the Mercedes R63 or the Dodge Durango. Yet we're the ones the nit-wits are flipping off on the road just because of the bad reputationthe H2 has. The scum sucking liberal media here in the states has demonizedthe entire HUMMER brand and the Eco-Nazi's have taken up the mantra and made HUMMER the focal point of their misguided attempt to heal the Earth. I honestly think AM General, GM and HUMMER could do a better job with public relations but I guess they are like most H2 owners and don't give a rip what others think.

that's right i know i don't care what other people think
i also have a machine that uses 450gallons a day of deisel and it is recycling ;)
so as you can see i don't care to much about feul usage
but what also give some ahole the right to think that we really care what they think
the people that give any negitive comment or gestures have personal selfestem problems
and just want tomake them selfs feel better by putting others down
and you know what?
that makes me feel better about me cause they feel that i am happier than them

I get the occasional "what kind of MPG do you get?", but overall not bad. The one guy that really gave me a bunch of **** about buying it is trying to buy one now :D

I get more "cool Hummer" or the kids looking than anything bad though.

i get lots of crazy looks from those "bubble" suv drivers. A coworker actually called me a "rich B*tch" yesterday when she found out the H3 was mine - she thought it was the bosses! I am far from being loaded - i think jealousy took over - besides, if iwere loaded, I'd have an H2 as well!!!!!!!!!;)
