I was surfing ebay for hummer h3 stuff as I always do and I notice there is a led tail gate bar for h3's just like the ones you see on the pick up trucks. It basically hooks into the power harness for your tow hitch to operate but I dont understand how you could attach this to the h3. Here is the auction I found anyone use this or seen a h3 with it?

I'm pretty sure that this would be pointless on any H3 that still had the spare tire on the back. Perhaps what you saw was for the H3T?

My friend's brother has this on his Tacoma. I don't know, it kind of looks stupid on any truck IMO. I know they have them for the H3T, not sure about just the H3 though.

Yeah I really had no intentions of getting it I was just curious if anyone was able to fit it. I think them advertising it fits to a h3 is a bit bogus. I see a few pick ups around me with them and it seems they are best kept on them.

Don't like it... light strips are good for airplane runways, theater walkways and UFO's

 

Aside from the spare tire I don't think it would work with the H3 swinging back door.
