I recently picked up an 08 H3x Alpha and have been debating buying different wheels to replace the factory 18's. Today, I decided to give the spare wheel a coat of PlastiDip to see how painted OEM wheels might look. I opened the spare tire cover and found this:



If you have a H3x, please take a look at your spare and tell me if you have this wheel (with the fake bead lock bolts).

I'm trying to figure out if I've got some weird one-off wheel, or if all H3x spares are like this. If they're all like this, I want 3 more!

I've never seen that modification on an H3X rim. I've had several sets of 5 pass through my hands and that is a first for me.

 

See if there is a GM part# cast on the back side and compare to your other wheels.
