Default H3s in drive through car washes?

Hi, I'm thinking about getting an H3 and was wondering if they have any limitations in your typical drive through car wash. Height, big tires, wheel damage etc..any problems?

I've heard that if you don't fold the mirrors in that it would be a problem. My auto car wash that I use works just fine and I don't even have to fold the mirrors in. I guess it all depends on the car wash. I would think that the newer car washed are designed for our vehicles.

I go thru the touchless carwash (WASHWORLD Vancouver) on a regular basis during winter time (every week) just to make sure the mud and salt are washed out. Never had a problem.

On warmer days I wash mine by hand.

Or you can buy a smaller antenna so it doesn't break off . I bought a 3 inch antenna off ebay about 6 months ago and that thing has not broken off yet. I had two previous ones break that were larger...and one the dealer broke off in their carwash so I got my third one at their expense. I have had noissues with reception either with the 3 inch antenna when I actually do listen to the FM radio.

I go thru all the time, they know me by name at the Carnetts. They take my antenna off, fold in my mirrors and tape my back windsheild wiper down.
