I am looking at installing a Winch on my h3 and was wondering if there are any particular
bushgard or Bull Bar that I need to purchase to mount the Winch or does it mount straight onto the chassis??

I went with the Steelcraft / Milemarker combo because I wanted a brush guard as well.

The Predator system looks cleaner, however is more expensive, and you will have to buy a brush guard on top of it if you want one.

If you find the lower mounted Predator system under water, or wedged up against a steep embankment, it could be difficult to deploy.

 

You need a brush guard or a new winch bumper.

don't have the time to look for it now...but I know somone was making just a winch plate, you sandwiched the mounting plate between tow hook and bumper and it gave you a really solid mounting plate for a winch...right in the center of the bumper....looked good and was only like $200 or something.
