Default H3 Wheel and tire size

I know this topic has been discussed, but I was just wondering what everyone's opinion would be. We have an 07 H3 with no lift. I think we are going to go with 33's or 305/75/16. I would love to go with 15's because I like seeing more rubber, but we will probably stick with the 16's. Has anyone ever gone to the 15's?

My next dilema is the wheels. We like a certain wheel made by Raceline. Here's the link. Raceline Wheels 886-60060 - Raceline Renegade 6 Polished Wheels - Overview - SummitRacing.com These are 16x10" wheels. I'm not sure if a 305 will go on these wheels, or if it will make it too wide without having a lift. The tire places I have been dealing with really have not been much help, so any input is appreciated. We don't plan on putting on a lift at this point. We just want larger tires. Thank you, George

If you like more rubber go with the 315/75/16 or 35s instead of the 33s. I believe 16s are stock for a reason....clearance of the calipers.

I only know of one H3 with 15" wheels on it. I also know he had to use spacers. I'd stick with 16" wheels, the tires will be easier to find and cheaper as well.

Ummm....the raceline wheels you posted DO come in a 16x8". But I'm not sure if they have the correct "center bore" for an H3.

15s have been done. But like it was stated above they had to use huge spacers and the wheels and tires stick out very far. not sure where you live but you may want to check out your state laws regarding tires sticking out past you wheel well. You will also sling rocks, mud, sand, dirt and water all over your rig anytime you take it form your driveway with your "stuff" sticking out that far.

Hope this helps!
