I am wondering what top speed other H3 drivers have achieved?

Today I was cruising down the highway listening to some good music and looked down and I was doing 90. I had no idea how fast I was going. I immediately backed off of the accelerator and dropped down to a respectable 70, which was the speed limit.

Anyone else have this experience?

 

The first weekend I bought my H3 I hit 100mph and the governor or whatever kicked in. Top speed achieved. I was 19 then.. and eager to finish a 400+ mile trip back to base.

ive been in 90's on turnpike but gotta watch it . im red and i hear they get spotted more than other colors!
i had a gray turbo probe, it loved doing 105!

 

The stock H3 PCM has a 100 MPH speed limiter as well as an engine RPM limiter. Those can be deleted/modified by a PCM tune.

I forget where I saw it years ago, but there was some modified turbo I5 H3 Police vehicle (I think it was in Germany??) that would do like 132MPH.

 

I've pushed my rig many times in the 90's.. I've never needed to push it anymore, as cars in front of me, all of a sudden, seem to change lanes.
