Have 305/65 R18 tires and just picked up a new set from a brand I never heard of until recently. Had 2 sets of BFG AT's on it for last 70k mies, including a brand new set and I was not happy with noise & everyday driving.
after lots of reading, I came across Wild Peak AT3's. I only have 250 miles on them but so far they seem to be a better tire and much cheaper too. ( Better for my needs at least, 90% of my driving is on regular roads )
My question now is how they handle in the snow? It's too late, I already purchased them, but just curious if anybody has experience? My BFG's seem to hold too much snow/ice in the threads, despite the new design. Maybe it's me, but they just didn't do it for me.
Anybody spend a full winter with these ? Can't see them being worse than BFG's.
