Don't use my OnStar so not sure, but I think it only uses 1 channel/speaker, not stereo.

Hello,

Is it possible to change the frequency of the radio by one step at the time?
I mean, now it jumps for example from 91.3 to 91.5 to 91.7 and so on.
Where are the 91.2, 91.4, 91.6??
Is it even possible??

Thank you

K.

Hey K.

I know you are in Belgium and they use the same FM channel center frequencies ending in 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, and 0.9 megahertz (ODD MHz), some countries use "ODD MHz" channel center frequencies as well as channel center frequencies ending in 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8 MHz (EVEN MHz).

So unless you travel to those "other countries" you will have no need for the "even MHz" channel center frequencies.

The radio pin outs are different for the H3 vs. the vett. I've spoken to Ray and he can create the short piggyback cable that will allow you to plug it directly into the back of the radio. It has a short jack cable that can be run to one of the aux light dummy plates in the cover if you don't have that option. It is an H3 version of his AUX-3 option. Seems like less work then the XM plug since it is a much shorter run and you only have to remove the radio console cover plate to get to everything. It is not a radio controlled iPod option like a PAL unit, but it will allow any audio device like a MP3 or iPod to play in true digital and it works with the Monsoon option. Not as cheap as splicing into the harness yourself, but you don't loose XM and it can be removed if the need ever arises.
