Well guys, I got the wire track off properly and was able to get the first coil on plug re-seated properly. Started her up and thank goodness I will not have to redo the job. She is fine and I will be returning the extra AC Delco plugs that were purchased today. Rice plugs for the win!

In about 15K miles when they are toasted, let us know about that rice winning thing.

Haha Doc... just fooling around. No fanboy of NGK's, just not in the mood to pull the intake again since it's now in the 20's in Wyoming. You have been great help to me in the past and with this issue. If and when the NGK's fail, I will be back on AC Delco.

Off subject here, but I noticed when changing the plugs that my plastic K&N intake has malformed where the hose clamps connect it to the throttle body. Possible due to hose clamps being too tight? Just wondering if it is going to cause an issue - restricted airflow into the throttle body or if this is something I shouldn't worry about.

I don't know, this thread was regarding a spark plug and C.O.P. issue so maybe check your plugs?
