Default H3 Roof Marker Lights - H3 Dead Now

Yesterday I installed roof marker lights on my H3 that I had bought off ebay 2 weeks ago. We followed the instructions exactly. After we were done I attempted to start the vehicle but had absolutely no power... No lights, horn, radio, nothing! We tested the battery and every fuse which were all good. We think we may have triggered the anti theft system when we unhooked the battery/fuse box to plug the lights in. If this did occur, we should at least have lights, correct? Has anyone ever experienced or heard of anything like this? I'm out of cell phone range so OnStar can't help either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

read the instructions again about the fuse box . you have to reset the bottom of the fuse box by pulling the bottom section up and lock it in place. I had to read it about 3 times before I figured it out

Major Tom... Can you elaborate on resetting the fuse box? We don't know what to pull up on. We also just noticed that one side of the fuse box is about 1/8" from completely snapping into place. We've tried everything!

oops! I was typing when you posted I guess!! great.

ive been looking at the power disribution wiring.

if you unplugged the main fuse box to connect on the bottom,then---- I think he means, RESEAT , not reset the connectors. they could be tricky to do since there are so many pins involved.

in really hope you did not damage anything there!!

the red wire for those lights is marked, 'dealer installed". I assume you connected there if you followed inst as you said. good luck, reverse your steps and check carefully if so.

when the top half of the fuse box is removed to gain access to the area that the roof lights harness plugs into, the bottom half tends to drop down. the bottom section needs to be pulled up and locked back into place. when the top half is re installed you should hear four (4) separate clicks to let you know it's in place
