Default H3 Newbie Rims

Hey everyone I know many people knock having an H3 with chrome wheels. But personally I really like the look. I am interested in eventually getting some 24" chrome rims and dont know what tire size to get with them. I have seen many post about wheels but none on 24" chrome rims. anyone have any input on this? Please no disrespectful comments.

The're not going to do well "on road" either.
So little rubber will give a very harsh ride.
Hit one good pothole and goodby tire & rim.

Bunger how can i view your pics. I really like your setup as well. I went to your profile but there are no photos. i was told a few different things about wheels and tires. Some say the less tread the bumpier and others say the more tread the noisier the ride. Is there a happy medium haha?

There is a happy median, if you don't plan on wheeling your truck.
33" diameter, All Terrain tires on no larger than a 18" rim. That leaves plenty of tire sidewall to absorb road hazards like potholes and the AT tread will be quiet on pavement.

If you ever plan on going offroad then it's a different story. 16" or 17" rims with 33" or 35" Mud Terrain tires. MT tires are noisier than AT tires but some MT's aren't bad.

I don't have any pics in my album because I spend more time over at the Hummer Offroad forum than I do on this forum but here's a couple pics of my truck. I'm running 33" Duratrac's on the OEM 16" rim. My tires are fairly quiet.
