OK, I was wanting to add OEM Factory Nav to my wifes 07 H3. It has Onstar and has the Monsoon system if that matters. I have searched and searched here and other places, and not found the real info.

If I buy a factory NAV in dash what else is needed? Is this plug and play or no?

Please any info at all will help me.

It's my understanding that the NAV system doesn't come with the Monsoon system. I had the Monsoon system and had to give it up when I added the NAV..although I still have the monsoon speakers system.


PS- it is plug and play.

Yeah i wanted the NAV, but it was US only. so i got the best of both worlds.
got a portable car navigation unit by NAVMAN. which i have to say, absolutely destroys any OEM nav unit, and the monsoon. its sweet!

 

My 2008 H3 ALPHA came with Nav w/Single disc CD Player & Monsoon System!

 

OK I found one that says still works with Monsoon , they asked if I need the antenna for it? Do I need an additional antenna if I have Onstar ?

 

The Onstar antenna and Nav antenna are to different ones! you need both!
