Does anybody knows if we can retrofit the MY08 H3 front aluminum skid plate to a MY07 H3 3.7L?

First why, most are going the other way to fit their B/A bumpers

Well then I believe its just a matter of taste, because I like SO much the new front aluminum skid plate....it gives me a modern look.

 

it might like I said above people are doing it the other way around because there is an extra support bracket on the 08 that won't work w/ the B/A bumper

What the other people do, what is the way around???
Should I buy the MY08 bumber along with MY08 skid plate?

Ok, I'm talking about the Boulder accessories aftermarket winch bumper. when it's put on an 08 or up there is a support bracket on them that the 07's didn't have so they need to use the older skid plate with the aftermarket bumper or modify the 08 skid plate some how. So I do know the an 07 skid plate will fit an 08 but I'm not sure about the other way around.

 

I got it now JGBB04.
The worst case is that I have to buy both MY08 bumper and skid plate or more parts may be invloved to this retrofit?

 

That's as much help I can be but try checking the H3 section here & on other forums for someone that put a B/A bumper on an 08 & used an 07 skid plate. They would be able to describe the difference better & might still have their old skid plate you could buy.
