After an hour of driving it starts to get real uncomfortable and i've had to make many adjustments to the seat. Try the lumbar support and put the seat back a little further on the long drive.

Thanks everyone for the input! I finally got a pic of my ride up. It's still 100% stock, but that will change in time!

Stock rigs are fine. Most people don't notice the undercarriage protection, rear diff protection, etc stuff that I have on anyway.

Well, I've tried every possible combination with the seat positioning, and it's still bad. Do any of you know of any aftermarket seats that would work in an H3? Yeah...the seats are that uncomfortable.

I knew there was an old post regarding seats so here's why I'm resurrecting it. My leather seats always seemed fine and I wondered why this post came up in March. But yeah, I did it,I went and got in shape and lost weight (Kind of a good thing when you do my job). Anyway... Now thet I'm 5'10" and 168 these seats are killing me! I have moved the power seat every way I can think of but it still hurts my can man. I'm wondering if this issue only afflicts us skinny dudes, and dudettes?

One solution would be to put your weight back on!!

Replace them with Recaro seats.

Not sure on the leather seats, but the cloth ones are very firm which is a good thing for your back, not quite so good if you have a bony butt like me. Much better than a soft seat. Leather seats make it that much worse because you slide on then your back muscles have to work to keep you upright.

I have a Recao seat in my garage waiting on one of the bracket manufacturers to design a bracket for the H3, or for me to go out and have one made. My 1300 mile road trip this week may just be the motivation I need to get it done.

I don't slide around on my leather seats probably because I don't oil them up. And replacing them is out because that's cash I can spend on kewl stuff like a winch or under armour for the drive train. Maybe I'll just buy a nice fanny pad like the truck drivers use so they don't have to buy so much Preparation H...
