H3 Factory Roof Crossbars

hey i'm new to the forum... just purchased by 2006 H3 yesterday

I have been looking into buying a roof rack for snowboarding season but i'm working what the difference is between the factory crossbars and an actual snowboard rack up to? what have you used your crossbars for? has anyone managed to stick a few snowboards under there? any response would be appreciated! thanks guys!

I already had a considerable collection of Thule system mounts and crossbars from my previous cars/trucks and hobbies so I just went with the Thule H3 roof rail foot pack for our H3. They work great and you can pop them on and off in seconds. I also like the fact that everything except $80 worth of foot pack stuff will be compatible with our other and next new vehicles.
