GM isn't going to revive Hummer while the federal government remains the largest stockholder and the current administration is in power. It would be contrary to their whole energy pitch. And don't try to sway that argument with facts - facts were never part of the anti-Hummer hysteria.

 

I actually got a letter from the GM executive offices after I sent a letter to them in response to their " Spirit of Hummer" marketing campaign trying to get me to buy an Escalade or Tahoe. Hummer isn't coming back. GM didn't know what to do with it when they had it. Their marketing rights to Hummer supposedly expire in 2014 or 2015. The HX could have saved the brand but they killed it. Guess that Volt decision isn't looking too good right now.
