Here is a video of my H3 crossing some flood waters in Northern NSW in Australia yesterday, where we were completely cut off from any civilisation for days, had run out of food to eat and had to make the trip.

When we finally made it to town there was no food on he supermarket shelves anyway, so we bought what we could and got about 10kg of meat from the butcher, so BBQ's it is till the supermarket gets re stocked. Plus we are making Beef Jerky as I type this.....

This is only one of many flood water crossings, lucky the Hummer is a beast

 

At least you weren't having to cross fast moving water to get to food.

 

Good thing you have the Hummer or you would have had to resort to cannibalism.

 

Not quite, but canned tuna and baked beans was nearly it, and now we just had another storm with heaps of rain.

Some sections were flowing a bit.

Got to admit Toyotas were getting through as well. It's mainly Landcruiser and Hilux country around here, we have the only Hummer in this part of the world
