So I have a brand new 2008 H3 w/ 600 miles on it and the check engine light came on? Any suggestions on what may be causing it?

Check your gas cap. Make sure it's tight.

 

Hi Kara, Yes, when I first bought mine I had issues with my gas cap & it was replaced because it wasn't getting a good seal.

Now my CEL came back on and seems to have been low air pressure in all 4 tires.

I would call the dealer and have them check it out. If your not that close to your dealership you can to to your local auto parts store and almost all of them are set up to do a diag check with their hand held scanner plugged into your OBDII plug and tell you what the issue or issues are.

 

Don't forget to use you OnStar. They may not know the exact cause, but they will tell you the category. You should have the Safe and Sound plan free for the first year, so make use of it.
