Default Was the H3 with the canvas roof ever produced?

I remember seeing some pictures of an H3 with open top removable canvas roof. Did it ever go into production?

Googled and found this: HUMMER's H3 Open-Top Concept bu can't find any info if it ever went into production but since I have never seen one for sale I assume they never put it in production.

I believe you're think of the smaller concept H4 that was never produced.

Converting an H3 to a simple soft-top wouldn't be hard for top shop; like putting a top on a boat. I'm guessing stiffness wouldn't be an issue.

I thought you meant this thing.

Never in production. GM had a sunroof convertible top contractor in Detroit do three I believe. I followed one on I696 west bound from the GM Tech Center a couple years back for a few miles, then I saw the same truck in a sporting goods parking lot so I did get a chance to check it out.

I have seen an image of a 3 with a roll back top similar to the Jeep Liberty. Looks really nice. I'm sure you could find a VW shop over there to do a conversion as that soft top is quite similar to the sunroofs in VW Buses from the 60's
