H3 Brake And Bearing Issues
My 2009 H3 Adventure started having some brake issues, pulsing when braking. I figured a rotor was warped and finally took it to get checked out by a local reputable mechanic shop. They told me whoever had the truck before me put cheap rotors on and all four were warped the pads were shot and I needed a wheel bearing. I knew it was going to be expensive and asked for a quote - $1500.
I was not happy with that so I parked it for a couple weeks until I had time to get another quote. I went to another reputable shop and this time the initial quote was $1000. I ended up having to get the work done and the secondary quote when we were getting ready to do the work - $1500.
The work is done but I'm feeling a bit of a vibration, like a thrumming at speeds above 45 through the the accelerator and steering wheel.
Do you think they didn't do the bearing job right or could it be something else?
