Default H3 on the Beach

Took the H3 on the beach last weekend ( we did about 100 miles of beach driving) - between Noosa and Double Island point (QLD Australia) - These things are fantastic in soft sand ! - i have owned a lot of 4wd's and the H3 does soft sand easier than anything... just luv it!!!....

I would have to agree, they do kick arss in the sand! Driving on the beach would only get me arrested but I have taken it to the desert and down to baja where it handled great at slow and high speeds

Nice pic....

Out of curiosity, what kind of light bar do you have rigged up there?

Light bar is a home fabricated unitbased on a Thule bar, brackets are polished alloy. I rebated 3 orange LED marker lights into the bar with an additional 2 on the sides - back of car has another 2 split Orange/Red LED markers (red faces rear)... Lights are 100 W point spotties. All wiring is hidden. - just another weekend project .....

here's a closer pic ...

Thanks for the detail......

That's pretty damn inventive if I must say so. (You Aussies seem to be pretty adept at that....)

Neat and clean job.

Get any vibration or wind noise out of it?

Bit of wind noise when the sunroof is open - I'm working on eliminating it - No vibration through,...

SteveO - You guessed right!- about 50 miles of white sand that would be 100 - 200 yds in width, water warm and blue! - I'll try to find some pics to post...
