Default H3 Alpha torsion bar

I lifted my Alpha with torsion bars, made several turns and got 24.25" on front (both sides), but my rear have 1" difference between the left rear and right rear after I moved the torsion bars. Is it normal?

AlsoI am gonna install the Rancho Suspension, need to get back the torsion bar as stock. Any knows the stock measure in the front? , from the center of your hub to your inner fender lip of your wheel.

Thanks in advance

Fragss

If I remember correctly it was 22-1/4" from the center ofthe hub tothe inner fender lip ofthe wheel. I did two and one half turns on the torsion bars and raised my front end one inch but I also changed the front shocks.

If I recall there's also an issue with GM overtightening the spring hanger bolts. Loosen them and retorque them to specs.

I was going to install the Rancho lift on my 2008 Alpha and you can talk to Rancho, It will not work! you can do the shocks and rear add a leaf but no way on the 4" lift!

After I get my winch I'm going to shop around for some tougher T-Bars so the winch doesn't fatigue the stockbars too bad. Once you do a bar lift then add a winch you'll have those things twisted all the way up just trying to keep level. That's too much twist for a stock TBar.

What you'll see is after you adjust them and you drive it, they will be off again in a couple of days and you'll need to readjust again.

Hi guys. I have a H3 as it is called in Oz with a Rancjo lift kit and 35" Mickey Thompson MTZ's. I am finding that the original torsion bar is not strong enough and we have to keep winding it. Any ideas who makes stronger after market torsion bars??
