Hey guys,

i put on a new muffler. The truck was a little louder, then I got an idea! Take off the muffler. Ran a straight pipe back from rear CAT. Throttle response is greatly improved. The sound is amazing. Sounds deep and has an attitude. Will post sound clip tomorrow.

 

How much resonance do you get inside the cab at cruise? Seems like that would be loud as hell. Can you post a clip from inside the cab as well? Thanks!

 

Surprisingly not that load. Sounds Healthy. The resonator is right after CAT. I cut off the muffler right before it bent to go to the drivers side rear. Probally 2-3 feet of tubing fro back CAT to exhaust exit.

Gibson and Magnaflow both have cats for the alpha now.
